Joining-Letter Flashcards

In Reading Level 3 of the Quran o'Phonics Reading Program, we introduce the child to different forms of each alphabet so they can progress to reading Arabic words with joint letters.

These flashcards can be used for 2-letter word-building and 2+ letter words.

Joining-Letter Flashcards: 3-Colours

These Flashcards are designed to help the child see that each letter is different. All the letters at the start of a word are blue, the letters in the middle of a word are purple and the letters at the end of a word are orange. 

Joining-Letter Flashcards: Red and Green

Continuing the Quran o'Phonics colour coding, we have designed these flashcards to remind the child to pronounce fat and thin sounds correctly. Red letters have a thin sound and green letters have a fat sound. To learn more about this see Teaching Guide RL 1.2

These Quran o'Phonics flashcards help a child to gradually progress to reading. Word-building with these black and white flashcards brings a child closer to the experience of reading the Holy Quran in print.
